St. Misery

“St. Misery is a project about St. Louis, MO, my hometown. This city has endured a lot of sad and traumatizing events, affecting every part of the city and its people. Gang violence, gun violence, and tragic early deaths have drawn national attention. The city is divided into areas for the fortunate and areas for the impecunious. The city invests in infrastructure for some areas while areas that need renovation continue to decline. St. Misery is the place where everyone is just trying to survive, to make it out as best as they can. The change we want to see is not just for our community but for everyone.”
