"The Talk"

I created a series inspired by an artist name Carrie Mae Weems and her well known series, "The Kitchen Table Series". My intention was to adopt a similar style to explore the emotions of a couple facing difficult times together. The artwork depicts their conversation about their relationship, showcasing various emotions as they seek to reconnect or decide to part ways. There have been many instances where a couple need to come together to discuss concerns and emotions that have been on their minds. It can be challenging to face eachother and have these conversations, but it's essential for maintaining a healthy relationship. Making time to express your feelings is crucial for finding the right solutions when dating someone you love. If you care deeply for someone, let this series help you understand the importance of talking things through, connecting on a deeper level, regrouping, and sharing what is on your mind.
